Hi Bruce,

 

My colleague John has passed on your enquiry for the Smalltalk User Group event. Indeed we have space here that I think would be suitable. These areas are on our conference floor and are fairly flexible spaces that can be adapted to the type of event that is taking place in there. With this in mind it is difficult to provide you with a cost until I am know what space you would be keen on so it might be an idea for you to come and have a look at the space at a time that is convenient for yourself, we could then take it from there.

 

Having said that I can try and provide you with a rough guide to rates. Please see below for some further information on the spaces along with rates:

 

 

 

Conference Suites

For main presentation room, streamed presentation rooms and workgroup rooms
Location: Level 4
Style of Room: Flat-Floored
Capacity: 10-170 Theatre, 24-100 Classroom, 16-32 Boardroom, 24-96 Cabaret

 

Located between two of our cinema auditoriums are 6 individual conference suites seating up to 50 delegates in theatre style or 16 delegates in boardroom style each, making these rooms ideal spaces for both smaller meetings and syndicate work.

The suites are separated by removable sound proofed partitioning, allowing complete flexibility in combining these rooms to create larger flat floored spaces.

When all partition walls are removed 2 large rooms accommodating up to 170 delegates in theatre style or 96 in classroom style each are created.

Contemporary and stylish with calming colour schemes, the suites benefit from air conditioning and natural daylight. They are equipped with a built in front projection screen, LCD projector and white board and can be blacked out for presentations.

 

Day Hire Rate (08:30-17:30)

 

Main Presentation Room £2,000+VAT

Streamed Presentation Rooms £650+VAT each

Work Group Rooms £650+VAT each

 

Conservatory Terrace
Location: Level 4
Style of Room: Flat-Floored
Capacity: 168 Banquet, 180 Fork Buffet, 200 Drinks reception

 

High up under the glass roof of the Centre, the Conservatory Terrace overlooks the tropical treetops of the Conservatory. Up to 200 guests may be accommodated in this magical setting for a either a drinks reception or private dining.

 

This space is a complementary space when used for catering.

 

Catering starts at £2.75+VAT per person for tea, coffee and biscuits with two course standing fork buffets starting at £26+VAT per person.

 

We offer free WiFi throughout the Barbican Centre.
