Hi
following a request from me and Aaron Reichow, Ken Causey created two new URLs: http://news.squeak.org and http://wiki.squeak.org . These URLs use HTTP redirection to bring the user to the Weekly Squeak blog and to the Squeak Wiki respectively.
Can you update the links on the front page of www.squeak.org?
Thanks,
Giovanni

I can do this, but I don't know how to edit the side bars. I think these should go into the "Links" sidebar, yes? Can someone tell me how to edit them?

Here is how: Log in. Click on 'template' in top of the page. Click on 'settings'. Scroll down to item Custom, Id: links, Title: Links The textbox has one long line with links in smallwiki syntax. Add the links to that. Separate them with two <br> tags. There can be no carriage return or linefeed in the line because of some smallwiki bug. Scroll down the page and save it. See that everything looks good and snapshot the site. That it :-) Karl

Thanks Karl. I changed it for www.squeak.org, but wwwtest.squeak.org seems to have a problem. I get the dreaded "Bad Gateway"
That's because it wasn't started.
I would like to go ahead and sort out this restart problem if possible. I've gone ahead and written the scripts to start both websites and am ready to finalize this. However I have to stop the current process first. Can I just kill it or is there some better way?
If someone can meet me right now on #squeak on irc.freenode.net we can get this sorted out and hopefully avoid future problems.
Ken

Thanks, but that helps me not at all. I don't need to know how to start the processes, that I already know. I just need to know if I need to be careful about stopping them.

You should probably snapshot before killing the processes if there are some changes that are not snapshot... Otherwise I don't see any problems Thanks for doing this. I really don't know how to do it. Karl
