Taken from my diary where I post (only) SqueakNOS news:

Well!!! I have just released SqueakNOS-28-May-2006.iso
<http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=3891&package_id=3865&release_id=420618>.
This release, as promised, has Keyboard, Mouse and Serial port support.
On top of the serial port you can do some basic remoting to fileIn and
FileOut .st files, and you can also, call FileDirectory startUp to let
the .changes file work.
Using the remoting is not absolutely easy, I will post something more on
how to do it. For now, if you are in linux, using VMWare and have python
installed, you can use serial.py included in the ISO to forward the
"serial communication" from VMWare to a TCP port in another Squeak
open... as I said, quite confusing.
Comments and improvements on anything and everything are quite wellcome.
Oh, the GRUB menu has now some options to boot without having to
manually tweak the parameters, but I have just included the most common,
and those reported here (QEMU).
