[Newbies] Why hasn't Smalltalk been wildly accepted?

Hi,

From its history, its goal(for example the dynabook), its byproduct (for
example, the GUI, the trigger of the mouse). Smalltalk and Squeak give us
much more than a OS or a programming langugae.
