[Newbies] combining arrays.....?

Hey, I can't figure out how to write a method to combine two arrays....for
example....

     #(1 2 3 4 5) combine: #(a b c) should return the 
                            array #(1 a 2 b 3 c 4 5).  
any help would be greatly appreciated.
