Just a notice that I've made some progress but I have to stop working on
this for today.

I tried to configure qmail with a test hostname of
liststest.squeakfoundation.org and set that up in DNS and everything.  I
created the ~list/.qmail-default file (after changing ~list
to /var/lib/mailman) and test copied the squeak-harvest list into the
appropriate locations.  I've got basic web access working and you can
look at the squeak-harvest archives (and I can configure the list).  But
right now you can't reply to the subscription confirmation because you
get a 'no such mailbox' kind of error in response.

I'll get back into this tomorrow.
