I have yet to optimise the workspace usage: there is almost certainly
loads of junk, like old copies of VMs. But with the exception of a few
jobs - InterpreterVM, CogVM, and maybe one or two others - we can GC
aggressively by simply nuking the workspaces.

I'm pretty much rewriting the builds anyway using Ruby/Rake, because I
can't stand sh/bash anymore.
