Sorry that I sidestepped that.
I just wanted to have an impression of what rackspace looks like and what it does.
I did that and had a look around.
Basically, It is not unlike ghandi, but we have more control and also CDN.
We could migrate the individual services to an own vm each (which should be manageable and also feasible).
We continue to have to manage things like mailman.
We can, however, have DNS managed through rackspace, which would give us some advantages (especially regarding CDN).
With properly set up CDN, we can (Finally) have a fast files.squeak.org, and - with some effort - theoretically fast source.squeak.org mcz.
Most of the things are definitely possible until december.
