  2177 is the old one.  Did you install the one from the one like:

http://squeakland.org/content/installers/Etoys-3.0.2177-Final-Win.exe

at top of http://squeakland.org/download/

or http://squeakland.org/content/installers/Etoys4-RC-Win.exe

?

For me, installing the latter does update desktop icon and stuff.

  In any case, the suggested way is to uninstall the old one before
installing the new one if possible...
