That would be great. I'll write something as well. I don't think it's too
much work and if I keep cleaning these tools there would be even less.

Maybe we can adapt the Spreadsheet object for this stuff. We need to think
of a way of linking rows or columns with axes but it could be done I think.

Maybe we could ask the user every time he drops an object whether he wants
to use it as a point or not. I don't really like this solution. Other idea
would be to never use texts as points. Or maybe add an option to the
object's menu that will allow it behave as a point or not. I don't know...
I'm just throwing some ideas...

Wow, I really liked Hans Rosling graphs. I didn't know about them and I
think we're getting closer to his approach.

I too believe so. We could make a new object like a properties panel which
would change the graphs properties, but it wouldn't be scriptable and I
don't really like this idea neither.

Also, building graphs composing this objects would help decrease the amount
of viewer categories of the graph because the range, the legend spacing,
colors, etc. would be a part of the number line.

One great idea of the Skeleton spreadsheet was letting the user link a
cell's value with a viewer tile by dropping it inside the cell. We could
make the Spreadsheet object work like that or see if Skeleton could be
integrated in Etoys. I like it even though I think it's a very big and
complex tool.

Thanks for your comments Steve! I think the graphing tools will become much
nicer with all these ideas :D
