No, that was just a byproduct. Under Sugar, the fullscreen/load/save buttons are replaced with Sugar-specific ones (share/insert/keep):

Of everything. We accidentally made those tiles in the "more geometry" be read-only (i.e., the assignment arrow was missing), and fixed that after the first alpha.
