 This is just wrong.  Opening a file should never change it's format.  If
 Etoys can't open a file without wrapping a project around it or otherwise
 changing its bits, then it shouldn't advertise that it can open it.

 Supporting the import of a particular file type is not the same as
 supporting the file type for opening.
