Scott Wallace updated SQ-149:
-----------------------------

    Fix Version: someday
                     (was: triage)

As Yoshiki wrote above, this is a phenomenon which in general would be very difficult to fix in the current system. So we're now remarking this "someday" -- at least this any future etoys system should address this issue frontally.

> From TRAC ticket 5339 (yoshiki, Dec 2007)
> (yoshiki) Rounding error in generating rotated, scaled Sketch:
> SketchMorph's generateRotatedForm method and WarpBlt rotate:degrees:center:scaleBy:smoothing: used from there round up the bounds of the resulting form when it calculates it.
> This prevents the user to set width (for example) of a Sketch object sometimes.
> From TRAC ticket 7149 (Kazuhiro Abe, Dec 2007)
> In the attached project, width or height of morph is never increased by under 1.0. And it is decreased by 1.0 with under 1.0. See attachment project. I tested it on #2005.
> (yoshiki) It doesn't appear so, but this ticket is duplicate of #5339 ("Rounding error in generating rotated, scaled Sketch.") It is hard to fix in the current architecture. In the future system, any user provided values should be treated as precious gold; including heading, width, etc., shouldn't lose the precision.
