I thought the gif was named the same as the project file, but without the .001.pr.

This is how I wrote the server extract code (it's already written).

If you use "thumbnail.png" I'll have to rename the file anyway (has to be available to a web server).

Also, why would we want the project.gif file still?   To support old stuff?
