 Hmm, I (on mac-os) can't reproduce this bug.  Does it happen with every
 wav file you try to load, or only particular ones?  If only particular
 ones, it might help for you to post an example of a problematical wav file
 to this ticket.

 Maybe this is a platform-dependent thing.  Hopefully someone else can try
 to reproduce the bug on linux.
