Antonio Moreno commented on SQ-225:
-----------------------------------

But scrolling could be really usefull with PasteUpMorph: Worlds and Playfields with scrolling (sometimes they are bigger than screen), with buttons on/off for them inside the Viewer, with the posibility (etoys mode) of commands like: "move 5 horizontally the screen" -and another one vertically- for scripting...
If so, then I should not use scrolling also Category Viewers also, then I divide this specially long categories as Scott says.

> For times when a viewer is larger than the screen height will allow, allow for paging like a book, as shown in the attached mockup.
> --
> From Karl:
> Here is a fast mock up of making each viewer category act as a book.
> Each category can then scale down to showing only 1 tile row and many pages :-)
> The benefit is that the book widget is used for other interface activity (familiarity) and this will scale
> for many display heights.
> One category we did not discuss in the meeting is the Scrips category which could easily expand past 600 pixels and it is
> user controlled....
> --
> From Milan:
> Karl, this is great idea. Playing with categories, if we make this book change, another suggestion ..
> - we only allow "paging" in the book interface on the last category, if it would grow longer than let's say width of 1 line above the screen bottom.
> - disable the + button (add category), if the bottom of last category is closer to the bottom than 3 lines.
