I did further investigation with a newer image. At least local clipboard in etoys seems working
in later image. But I don't think I can fix about external clipboard of Mac.
with Mac OSX 10.5.7
Etoys 4 vm (4.0 RC) + build 2332 image
Copy and paste Japanese character within Etoys image: OK.
Copy ascii characters from ouside app: OK.
Copy ascii characters to outside app: OK.
Copy Japanese characters from outside app: NG, shows '???'
Copy Japanese characters to outside app: NG, nothing happens
Keyboard input with Japanese: NG, shows white boxes.
old Etoys vm (3.8.17b6) + build 2332 image
Copy and paste Japanese character within Etoys image: NG
Copy ascii characters from ouside app: OK.
Copy ascii characters to outside app: OK.
Copy Japanese characters from outside app: NG, shows '???'
