I (and my students) tried to add "Flaps" to provide instructions on how to use an Etoy.
We went to Object Catalog -> Connectors and dragged "Button Flap" onto the screen. 

THen when we dragged text onto the flaps "playfield" (think that's the correct term) it turns the text into a "Maker Button"
When I drag drawings onto it the drawing disappear from the screen.

Am I using the wrong object/morph?

I have had this problem with the 10/16/09 release on Windows and Macintosh (had it on previous Release Candidates as well, but not sure when issue introduced.

My work around for the class was to drag the "About" flap into the Supplies bin
