Here's those two programs, both have the info line always on display - Anime Studio at the top, Sketchup at the bottom.   Both are programs that also do an excellent job of getting the user up to speed, via PDF manuals, in program tutorials and training videos on their websites.

As I see it, Etoys would have a similar info line that was always showing, depending on what tool, or tile, or variable was being clicked on / selected.

Also if you were to click on a tile, that is already in a script, it would actually display two things, 

one - what sketch or object the tile is associated with
and two - what that tile does

As in 

This tile makes "Sketch A" do "this command"

Which would be both helpful and and valuable beyond words when it comes to debugging / figuring out where the tile originally came from.
