Problem I saw last night is no longer re-creatable. FYI, when I tried to open a .pr file with IE8 it would not open. I will chalk it up to a server issue for now and keep testing periodically with IE8.

Regarding the list above:
12:28 teefal pages that have problems:

12:28 teefal 2. download is whacky  - PASSED (not sure exact definition of "whacky" but I used to see part of the banner "shift" while loading and that has stopped with fix)

So I would say PASSED.

Separate issue is more IE8 than the site, in "Compatbility Mode the "forums chat logs ..." links at the top of the page shifts way right and is not aligned with the rest of the page, turn off compatability mode and its fine.

That said IE8 also shows that there are "Compatability" issues with the microsoft.com site for IE8.
