In Sugar, when Etoys is stopped while in the cloud screen, we do not save the project, but simply quit. 

If the user has created a project before, and switched to the start screen, she loses her work without warning.

I propose that if we get a quit signal but there is a project thumbnail in the start screen, we do not simply quit but do something else. The only short-term option I see is putting up a confirmation dialog warning about the potential loss of changes.
