Bert Freudenberg commented on SQ-321:
-------------------------------------

In Sugar it means "Save and stop" elsewhere it means "Just Quit". This difference alone warrants a different Icon IMHO.

Also, people unfamiliar with Sugar will not recognize this as a quit button, the cross is pretty much universally used for that, on Mac, Windows, Linux, even in Etoys.

The documentation problem is why I propose to do it now and not once the documentation has been written.

In fact I proposed to change the Journal load and save icons too, which are rather confusing to non-Sugar users, and again behave rather differently. Under Sugar the load button is the way to insert any object like images etc., whereas elsewhere it just allows to open projects. The save button does not bring up a dialog but just saves a copy under Sugar. If I had an idea how these buttons should look I'd propose to do that now, too.

> Currently we use Sugar's octagonal Stop button for exit. Elsewhere in Etoys we use a crossed circle for that. IMHO we should use a white circle with black cross in it for the exit button if we are not running in Sugar.
