If someone wants to look into this, it might not even require changing the VM. It should be enough to set the right SqueakBrowserMouseButton options in Info.plist as explained in
http://www.smalltalkconsulting.com/html/squeakinfoplist.html
To do that, ctrl-click the "Etoys 4" icon and choose "Show Package Contents". Make a backup of Info.plist, then edit the settings (if you have Apple's dev tools installed you get a visual editor, otherwise edit the XML by hand), save Info.plist, and reload a project in the browser. When you found options that work better, attach the new Info.plist to this ticket.
