Was looking at the System Preferences pane for Trackpad on Mac OS 10.6.x
This would make a great model for quick guides in that by simply mousing over an option the video "shows you what it does" no words, no text, wouldn't work for all tiles or objects, but probably for the majority it could be done.  This could make translation almost a non-issue.

Problems with this idea:
1) Event Tracker is "finicky" but slow mouse movements and ensuring your are centered over an object before clicking help. There are a number of other issues as well.
2) If you change languages the size of certain scripting tiles changes and as the Event Theater seems to use mouse position that can cause different behaviors
3) We would still probably want to add some text to do what the current quick guides do and suggest things users could try.
4) The current quick guides "invite" the users to play with the objects which is very nice.  To do this the Event Theater would have to remain open after completion of playback.
