Similarly, the PO file should not contain split strings, e.g.

msgstr ""

because other languages have different word order. Please use a placeholder:

msgstr ""

Each translatable string should be a complete expression, for example a button label, a menu item, a tooltip, an instruction or a Help sentence/paragraph. Split strings are not correct localization practice, and will result in broken translations in many languages.
