Okay never mind the "move the canvas" just figured out how to do that. Shift drag from outside the canvas so you can select it, then use the halo to move it. Still it might be nice if it was easier to enable moving or at least get the canvas' Halo as most folks don't discover shift drag for a while. Then it would be nice if I documented that in the Floss Manual and had a screencast on it as well ;)
