Text object translation to other languages

The text object seems to be broken in the following way. I can no longer write text in one language, switch to another language and write the translation, and switch back to the original language and see the original text. The text stays the same as the last entry when I switch languages. However, when I open a project I did earlier with English and HT, it works when I switch languages.
