For text objects it inserts the Text's characters (always in 15 point BitStreamVeraSans) - Same could be done with insert characters specifying the other text objects characters
For non text objects it inserts the objects name (always in 15 point BitStreamVeraSans) - Same could be done with insert characters specifying the objects name

This is redundant and not well understood by most users.
