Scott Wallace commented on SQ-1076:
-----------------------------------

Thanks for testing, Karl.
No -- it was definitely not my intention to show both the normal and the eyedropper cursor at the same time.
I did not see that phenomenon when testing the change-set -- and I still do not see it now (in RC3).
I've tried to reproduce the difficulty with biggerCursors on or off, and with screen scaling on or off. No success at recreating the failure yet :(
So.. please give guidance as to how to reproduce the situation where one sees both the normal and the eyedropper cursor concurrently.
Thanks :)

> When the mouse goes down in a modeless color picker, such as those found in property sheets and in the graph-paper panel, the user is in a "color-picking-up" mode correlated with that particular picker, and can pick up a color from anywhere on the squeak screen. To emphasize that the user is in this somewhat counterintuitive mode and to call attention to the fact that, having established which picker is being fed, the user can proceed to pick up a color from anywhere, it would be desirable to show the eyedropper cursor (until now only shown in the modal picker) for the duration of the mode, i.e. until the mouse comes up. The attached fileout implements this change.
