A couple of folks are participating on this list without being subscribed.  I have no problem with this, but I want you to know that the turnaround can be slow because your message doesn't not get posted to the list until I (as moderator) have been asked to approve it by the mail bot.   Sometimes I do this right away, but sometimes I'm away doing other things, so there's no guarantee of decent response.
