In seaside-utils-core there is trimBoth, which has the correct behaviour.
Renamed WAPlatformTest testTrimBlanks to testTrimBoth,
Added WAPlatformTest testTrimBoth2 with the issue,
replaced trimBlanks by trimBoth in
   WAMimeType fromString:
   WAQualifiedValue fromString:
   WARequestCookie keyFrom:
   WARequestCookie trimBlanksAndQuotes:
