That's a security feature, you close your browser, your session is gone. I  
don't find
that counter intuitive. Everybody else does it like this. Even without  
session
cookies link copying does not work if you wait too long and the session  
times out.

No, the application adding the cookie is fine but I don't think it's bite  
sized.
