Philippe, out of curiosity, what are you doing that makes you always
notice when versions are missing so quickly?

I mean, I understand the desire to have the whole history there but
part of the point of distributed version control is that you don't
need to and, unless you were trying to merge two descendants of the
missing version, I don't understand why you notice.
