I think the new version it is a significant improvement. Just compare
it with the Rails or Django welcome screens. I find the previous
version look very oldish with the large amount of messy contents, the
boxes, the bars and the tiny fonts.

I agree that the configuration interface is kind of ugly. Also, I
doubt that any newbie will be able to understand without further help
what 'Error Walkbacks' or 'Server URL' (I don't even understand it
myself) means exactly. I think it is kind of pointless at the moment,
unless further explanations are added.
