[Seaside-dev] Fwd: [ANN] Blog Post about Porting the Latest Seaside with Tonel Tools

Hi!

I'm forwarding the email below for the public awareness of Seaside users
and developers.

Instantiations (by means of Mariano and me) ported the latest Grease and
Seaside versions to VAST, and Mariano wrote a blog post about how we did it.

I think this is important for Seaside, since it will pave the way to more
frequent updates to the VAST port and, at the same time, enable
contributions back to upstream codebase coming from the users of Seaside in
VAST.

Best regards!

Esteban A. Maringolo

Greetings Everyone,

As you probably saw in a previous post
<https://groups.google.com/g/va-smalltalk/c/CUE6ntqU5p8/m/KTt1vUohAwAJ>, we
recently ported the latest Seaside 3.4.4 release to the VAST Platform using
our powerful Tonel Tools.

Additionally, we thought it would be interesting to document the process
and share it with you. This info will hopefully make porting your own
libraries faster and easier.

Feel free to reply to this thread if you have any questions.

Best,
