Hi Randal,

I'm not creating Redline Smalltalk because I don't like to file things
in or out, but because I want to take Smalltalk and Seaside to the JVM
where I hope they will gain more popularity, and where the community will gain,
and continue to grow.

I'm not lazy, but if I had the sources I would have attached them to the email
and spent less time writing 'negative' sentiment. I am wanting classic ST80, but Ill use
the "one or two clicks" approach.

Thank you for your warm welcome.

Rgs, James.

> To: james_ladd@hotmail.com
> CC: seaside-dev@lists.squeakfoundation.org
> Subject: Re: [Seaside-dev] Re: seaside sources ....
> From: merlyn@stonehenge.com
> Date: Wed, 23 Dec 2009 17:49:34 -0800
>
> >>>>> "James" == James Ladd <james_ladd@hotmail.com> writes:
>
> James> The barrier to entry to Seaside is high, given the steps I need to get
> James> the source.
>
> On the contrary, the "source" to Seaside is already encoded in formats that
> make it one or two clicks to install on all modern Smalltalk versions already.
>
> James> One of the reasons Im creating Redline Smalltalk.
>
> Really?
