Hello,
I am in the process of selecting a tool for developing my current web
project.
Currently it is between Squeak and Zope3 (which is development).
I am currently more knowledgeable and understanding of Zope/Python than
Squeak/Seaside/etc.
I am hoping to get a grasp of Squeak shortly.
I have not downloaded Seaside yet, but have read a week ago the swiki
and website.
I look forward to the rest of the goals being completed on the swiki.
What issues does Squeak/Seaside face to be enterprise ready concerning
stability and scalability?
The last time I used Squeak on my Linux machine (it has been awhile, it
is currently not working, dead MB) just checking email with Celeste
consumed almost all of the cpu.
Has anyone looked at mod_smalltalk?
I am interested in any comments or opinions reguarding Squeak/Seaside
web serving. Is it capable of scaling at least where Zope/Python does.
Is it suitable for similar scales of websites?
I am not asking about having all the tools or widgets Zope does. Those
can be developed and can come whenever.
Thanks for any help.
