Seashell is/will be the ZODB-like system from Cees.

Once Cees finds time to work on this, I would expect it to be the best
option.  For early thoughts, you'll have to ask him.  I've also been
playing with a few proof of concept designs for lightweight OODB and OR
mapping tools, but I'm wary of sinking too much energy into persistence
when there are more experienced people and more mature projects (eg, Glorp
and OmniBase, both of which I would love to see ported to Squeak) around.
