[Seaside] OT VW help

I have just loaded up VW-nc on my Mac system 9 for the first time 
(yes I gave up on X due to disk corruption problems I couldnt fix)

All the displays look ugly, the lineheight is not large enough to 
display the icons in heirarchical views, they all appear scrunched up 
and clipped overlapping each other. Where should I go for tech 
support? can anyone here help. I figure its a fonts issue of some 
kind.
