Only if the hoster offers it. And that is the whole point. It has nothing to
do with the technology itself. If your hoster doesn't offer you ASP.NET
because he runs LAMP, you can't do it. If we does, you can. Same for PHP,
Perl, Python, Ruby, JSP, Seaside, PostgreS ...
