Well, it depends what exactly you want to do.

Seaside itself has no problems on a 64-bit machine; it's just a
question of Squeak compatibility. You can run Squeak on an x86-64
machine without any issues when using the ordinary 32-bit VM (subject
to the usual 32-bit constraints). The 64-bit VM has some problems, but
is being worked on. A lot of plugins, especially, don't work.
