[Seaside] Upgrading from older seaside

I'm upgrading from a much older version of seaside and some  
mechanisms seem to have changed or vanished.  Hopefully someone who  
has been with it for awhile can tell me:

WAController - the whole controller concept seems to have vanished to  
be replaced by...?
Additionally there are references to 'activeController' all over the  
place.

WAFilter - in this case used as an authentication wrapper - the new  
strategy involves...?

WATrail - old version has controllersAndNames - I should replace this  
how?

Styles associated with components are not being emitted.  A number of  
default styles are getting output, but the ones I have on various  
components are not getting output.  Note that I am using the old html  
renderer everywhere.

Tips appreciated.
