[Seaside] fulltime seaside position

The point is that in these exchanges you appear as non-transparent, non-communicative, non responsive, with a short fuse, and controlling. If it's so difficult for you to answer such a simple question as "where are you located?", what should be expected to happen in future exchanges?

You say, what does it matter? If a person asks, for that person it's important. Your physical address shouldn't be a secret.
You should have been much more upfront about yourself, your company, your performance track.

Because it seems to be so much what I would like to be doing, I have considered to apply for the position, but with so many open questions, I am puzzled.

Victor

I've already answered plenty of questions off list. After the timezone though, a geographic location for a job that
doesn't have a geographic location is just a little annoying. Even if it leads to Avi giving me a laugh.

It does, if by EST you mean Estonia :)

To be serious though, job searches are often as much about employer as
they are about an employee. It isn't unreasonable for candidates to want
to know who it is they are dealing with before they decide to apply,
which is why lack of detail in your original message might have spawned
    all those questions.

    Cheers!

Its a telecommuting position. I didn't think it would matter at all as
no one in the IT department works out of an office.

Until yesterday we had people working from Vancouver to Paris. As of
today just Vancouver to New York.

There is no 'located' as its a telecommuting position and we have people
all over. As long as someone can meet the job requirements, they can
work on mars for all I care ( although that could make the teaching up
    part hard. )

Seriously though, EST, NYC? Does it make a difference? Central office is
NYC. I work all hours. Doesn't much matter to me.
What is this timezone obsession some people have? Maybe if it wasn't
    mention, it wasn't considered important?

           Hi Sean,

It seems like you are trying to avoid saying where are you
located. Is this the case? If so, why?

But the potential candidates might like to know
    in what timezone he
is supposed to be available for prompt
    responses. (I'm not applying,
                           but^^;)

                   EST.
