Right, that sounds interesting.  I have two questions:

1. given that I am using a submit button - within the form - shouldn't that
be submitting the whole form (including the radio buttons)?  Or, do I still
need the onclick handler?

2. All I have really done is cut and pasted the code from the seaside book.
I couldn't get that to work at all. So, is that  problem with what I have
done, or is the example actually wrong?
