No, I didn't. The Cairo port to Pharo is rather new, and
I didn't even manage to create a pdf with it yet (for which
I have a more urgent need).

The problem with the EyeSee code is the lack of
encapsulation of drawing code (and initializing
way too much subcomponents before needing them).
