Hi,

Hopefully better late than never, I've finally got around to copying over
the EU-WEST AMI into US-EAST. The two available AMIs are:

EU-WEST ami-7f9bae0b
US-EAST ami-603bcb09

I've updated the instructions:
http://www.nickager.com/blog/Create-a-free-Gemstone-server-in-the-cloud-in-10-minutes/

Hope this helps

Nick
