I get the linux non-cog VM (which I thought was also called the stack or 
interpreter VM) from here:

Specifically this file:
http://www.squeakvm.org/unix/release/Squeak-4.4.7.2357-linux_i386.sh

There is one on the unix page for Mac.

I don't know about windows.

Did Allan mention what platform he was using?
