I don't think you need to go into the VM. Have a look at
SystemDictionary>>changesName and SystemDictionary>>sourcesName. You could
patch these methods and then write your image. You could even put these
paths in the .ini file in read them in those methods. As the comment states
in SystemDictionary vmPath the primitive is not essential, so you can't be
sure about the VM anyway.
