Folks,

I'm happy to announce an updated VM for the 1.31 version of Squeak.
There have been a small number of changes including:
* Dynamic 8/16 bit sound support is now available
  (Happy sounding for all SBPro users ;-)
* The image save problem has been fixed
  (Remember that the image showed up on your desktop?!)
* A minor display bug has been fixed
  (The left-most region of the Squeak window was reversed)
* A new preference value pops up the console if any VM errors are reported
  This will give you a more descriptive error message for some of the
  primitives.
As usual the new version is available at

and will probably show up at UIUC in a couple of days.

A final note for VM recompilers: I've taken out some of the old stuff
(i.e. sqSaveRestore.c is no longer) and I modified the header structure to
be compatible with the sq.h/sqMachDep.h files in the InterpreterSupportCode.
