Absolutely.  Besides, if we start speaking about locale differences, for
some people @ does not have any predefined meaning at all and they  see
nothing wrong with using this funny character to create Points.  Those who
cannot get over @ meaning 'at' can just think that '2 @ 3' means 'a Point
AT (2,3)'.  Does not seem confusing at all (not everything reads nicely
left-to-right in an infix notation anyway).
